My health & wellbeing (Adult Carer Support Hub)

My Health & Wellbeing

When we think about our health & well-being, we often assume this relates to our physical health. In reality, our well-being means our happiness and our ability to enjoy our life. All of us are more likely to put our own well-being on hold if we are caring for someone else. Carers do not always recognise the impact their caring role can have on their general well-being. Good well-being affects our health, and many studies have shown how being able to engage in our community and being happy will improve our overall health.

This section of the Carer Support Hub is about things that you can do - or are entitled to - to improve your well-being as you care.
