Supporting someone in hospital

We have Carer Support Workers in Northampton and Kettering General Hospitals. They aim to support unpaid Carers while they - or their Cared for people - are in either hospital.  Our workers can:

• Offer emotional support, practical advice and information;
• Liaise with other hospital teams and professionals
• Support with discharge
• Refer for Carers Assessments or further support post discharge, where appropriate
