How we Support Young Carers

After you have been referred to us as a Young Carer, one of our Young Carer Support Workers will conduct a needs assessment with you and your family. Our worker will create a personalised support plan for you and your family.

The Young Carer team offers these services to support Young Carers: 

Personal Assessment

Individual assessment of your caring tole and its impact on your life

Wellbeing Support

Access to listening support from our friendly and caring staff.

Support Groups

Join wellbeing groups across Northamptonshire to develop coping skills.

Young Carers Forum

Share your views and help influence positive changes for Young Carers.

Special Events

Invitations to occasional events and activities based on needs and funding. 

School Support

We work with schools and professionals to raise awareness and provide support.
