Council Tax Reduction

You may be entitled to a Council Tax reduction on your property. You can claim Council Tax Reduction if you are already claiming other benefits such as

Job Seekers Allowance, Income Support or Universal Credit. You may also claim it if you are working but on low income. There is also a reduction in Council Tax if you or the person you care for has a severe mental impairment. This could include someone who has been diagnosed as suffering with severe and enduring mental health issues including Alzheimer’s disease, other forms of dementia and strokes.
